DSGW-210-A-10 BLE WiFi gateway is well-suited for BLE-based asset and personnel tracking systems. It can scan and read transmitted data from nearby BLE Beacons, making it a central management device for businesses and organizations to implement Bluetooth RSSI positioning solution.
With WiFi connectivity, DSGW-210-A-10 gateway can bridge the collected data from BLE beacons to the internet, in order for centralized real-time monitoring, gaining insights from data analysis, and optimizing the management.

What is BLE WiFi gateway?
A BLE WiFi gateway serves as an n intermediary between Bluetooth beacon & sensor devices and the cloud server, facilitating the transfer of data from the devices to the desired destination. Its work flow like this:
- The BLE device enter the communication range of Bluetooth gateway(usually have stronger receiving sensitivity to receive signals from BLE devices) and connect with the gateway to transmit the data;
- The BLE moduleof the BLE WiFi gateway will receive the data and relay it to the WiFi module via the serial port;
- The WiFi module of the BLE WiFi gateway will upload the data to the designated server through the network router;
- The server calculate and analyze the data of BLE devices and display the outcome on the fron-end console. The users can make decisions and issue commands. The command will then be passed back to the BLE WiFi gateway;
- The BLE WiFi gateway transmits the commands to the Bluetooth device for control.
What is the difference between BLE and WiFi?
Bluetooth and WiFi are two important players in the IoT field and both of them have their own advantages. WiFi is more widely available and has a faster data transfer rate, making it possible to control devices remotely and send huge volumes of data rapidly.
